The check all tool will select all the available layers. |

The uncheck all tool will deselect all layers. |

The themes tab lists all of the data layers available by year for land cover, canopy and impervious surface. Layers can be turned on by selecting the box and turned off by
deselecting the box. All layers are see-through, allowing you the ability to view land cover, canopy and impervious surface.
The boundaries layer adds county boundaries, state boundaries and roads. To expand the road selection, press the + button. To
collapse, press the - button. Once selected, press the reset button to apply all boundary data
to map. |

The up tool moves selected layer up one level. To use, select a layer from the list. Press the up button then the refresh tool to activate. |

The down tool moves selected layer down one level. Select the layer you want to move down, then press the down button and refresh tool to activate. |

Opacity levels can be adjusted to allow better visibility of layers. After selecting the opaque level, press the refresh tool to apply to map. |

| Moving Around (top center) |
 |
After selecting the zoom in tool, a cross hair will appear when moved over the map area. Click once to zoom to that spot, or click and drag to select an area. |

The zoom out tool works in the same manner as the zoom in tool, only in reverse. Click the zoom out tool once and the map will zoom out in the area selected. |
 |
The pan tool allows you to grab the map and move it. |
 |
The full extent tool will take the map image back to a view of the entire state. |
